so I just picked Apple Pencil today at my local Apple Store (and by local itâs 80 miles away) and have been trying out pencil mode. so far I am fairly impressed with the accuracy that it has with Nintype. I do really like how it gives you the extra keys along the sides for numbers and punctuation and other keys. only thing Iâve noticed is the âslide up ok keys for numbers/punctuationsâ doesnât work very well. so I was telling a friend about it and the first thing they asked âso you can write like you normally would on paper and it converts it to text?â so then I proceeded to explain how it works that out just re-sizes Nintype and centers the keyboard and you swipe like normal but it got me thinking.. how cool would it be if Nintype recognized writing as in pencil mode?! now I understand this would be extremely hard with different languages and how everyone writes letters and numbers differently. I do know that MyScript is a calculator app that recognises numbers as well as different operators and constants that are actually written out and that Samsung has it on the latest Galaxy Note so I know itâs not impossible but would be rather hard. I kinda doubt it will ever happen but still a cool thought. (FYI this entire post was written with the Apple Pencil and Nintype)
