I've known about the Super Mario Land games on the game boy but never payed much attention to, that is until I saw Norman's video on it yesterday and I was very impressed with how much they were willing to change things within the games from the past Mario games on the NES.
I know there are a lot of fans for the NSMB franchise, but in my eyes it has become tedious and lacks a personality, what interests me about Super Mario Land is that the levels do not resemble the old one's or Mushroom Kingdom at all, SML1 takes place in Sarasland(Pretty sure I spelled this wrong).
If they remade this and put it on the Switch I wonder if that would be a bigger draw than making a new NSMB installement. Which one would you prefer?
My only worry about remaking the triology is that the total play time may be shorter than a NSMB game. The 3rd game would be intruging to play as Wario again since his last platforming game was on the Wii.
