I made this thread to list N Game Information.
N is available for purchase in the Nintendo Switch eShop (as of May 24)! Get ready to play one of the best platformers ever created by Metanet Software! It is a fast-paced, momentum-based platformer about darting around obstacles, narrowly evading enemies and collecting gold in a beautiful minimalist landscape. It is all about using your momentum to complete levels and get high scores, but in this sci-fi world, there's a slew of inadvertently homicidal enemy robots trying to prevent you from completing your goal. Through the hand-crafted (NOT procedurally generated) levels, you'll experience platforming at its most intense. Using only your fluid movement, you need to 'solve' each level and get to the exit.

Play a little, or a lot there's no skill ceiling, so you can always get better and better. N is a game that has enough bite-sized gameplay to last you a lifetime.
If you have never played N , but have played another version of N (N,Nv2, or N ) you may be wondering what the difference is and if it is worth it. First, let me tell you, it is totally worth it! this is a completely written-from-scratch ultimate version of the same design. Metanet spent a year alone writing a completely bespoke vector anti-aliasing system for the graphics! (They wanted this version to be as close to perfect as possible). Metanet predicts that N will take a very skilled player 50-100 hours to beat the 4000 official included levels. (And that's just for regular completion; if you're trying to 100%; all of the expert/secret stuff then it will easily be 500-1000 hours of constant learning and pushing your skills.) But beyond that... N is just way way better. Every aspect of the design has been refined: N has 10x more levels than N or N , but also each level now has many layers to it. And they have added a bunch of new enemies which make things a lot more interesting, as well as more than 100 different colour schemes, and other funlockableâ„¢ headbands and customization options. In addition, N has 6 hours of the best electronic music they could find. It comes with built-in global level sharing for the editor (IIRC there are 30k user-made levels)... every level made by every player even has its own leaderboard!
If you are still reading this and have not purchased N for the Switch, stop reading and go do that NOW! If you are still wondering if you will get much bang for your buck, let me break down what you get for $15.00 just in term of the massive number of levels. With N having 4,000 official levels and 30,000 user created levels, this means that the total current levels available is somewhere around 35,000 (and climbing daily). If you take the price of $15.00 US, it means that you basically get each level for $0.00042 dollars! In other words you get 24 levels to play per penny.
It is very apparent that a tremendous amount of love and attention to detail was incorporated into N .
I highly suggest that everyone should check out the Metanet Software website development blog. It will give you a very detailed look at everything that was put into creating this game.
A little information about Metanet Software (from website):
