Hi all,
I hope this post is appropriate for this Reddit, but I think it could be a good source of discussion. I'm currently 28, I've spent the last 10 years working to obtain my PhD, and I'm now working a full-time job as a university lecturer/professor (depending on where you are!). Since leaving university, I still have a fair share of friends that I see regularly, but a lot of my friends have lost interest in gaming and/or only play very mainstream games such as COD and FIFA. Additionally, it can be really challenging to find the time to find new interest groups and people with the same interests! I'm sure there are plenty of people that share these sentiments.
So, I'd love to hear from you and what your experience is on this front. Do you have a group of friends that jam out and play Nintendo? Do you have friends where you nerd out about the latest games coming out on Switch? Do you wish you had more gaming-centric friends?
Look forward to hearing from you all!
