Most popular ninja gaiden title???

I used to think Ninja Gaiden 2 was the more popular one, I remember a friend owning it and I also saw it at a few video game shops.

But in this subreddit I see alot of talk about the original and it's versions like sigma and black. Just kind of curious which one you think is the most popular game

I've only ever played ninja gaiden sigma through gamepass but I bought the original on Xbox and I plan to eventually buy Ninja Gaiden 2 if I can find a physical copy, might even just buy a digital copy on sale since I'm pretty sure it's backwards compatible
