I read the book awhile ago and although I loved it it was very hard for me to finish it since it was more of a character study. I feel the show is more powerful, it has a stronger message and deeper meaning specially surrounding death and grief, it’s incredible how the way we handle it can make us go backwards even when we think we’re moving forward. It’s no Big Little Lies but for me it was pretty damn good. Plus the acting in this was amazing, I hope the cast get some recognition <3
