If you turn on a Segway Ninebot S Plus, that's the sound it makes. "Uh oh...you turned me on!" It's like it's telling you not to get o.And the thing is understandably concerned -I do sometimes eat pavement, after all. My friends tease me that it's warning me about the awesome fun trouble I'm gonna find.

I love this thing, I call it my flying machine but whenever I pick up a decent speed it's squawking becomes unbearable. It's heinous! This unnecessary godamn alarm before it kicks back and slows down. And oooh so embarrassingly because you we should all admit we like the attention our weird vehicles get. Of course there's always a one-wheel bro nearby to jab me with a Nelson Muntz "ha-ha". 😒

If I open this thing and cut the wires to the speaker, is this it even going to run???

For all i know it runs a diagnostic when I turn it on. Anyone ever try this? I know some people muffle a little with tape but it seems kind of bush league.

By the way i totally agree with the sentiment that Ninebot is utter shit with customer service or even just attention. This thing would be huge if they did anything about marketing and growing this cool little community. Just anonymous boxes from China as though they don't appreciate what they made or care about you as a customer and fan.
