Follow up on my TC2.0x vs. TC1.4x
Post Body

Follow up to my post yesterday. Thank you for the feedback. I'm leaning towards my expectations are too high, but I figured I'd follow up anyway.

I went out again today and took some more photos using both the 2.0 and 1.4 on my 100-400 and Z8. These are all SOOC files. These first two were shot close together. The Bufflehead in the first shot is closer, so maybe that's making the difference? To me even not looking at full res, the 2.0 is not as clear.

TC1.4x

TC2.0x

Yesterday with the TC2.0x. Might be a better comparison because I think the ducks are a similar distance away in both shots.

This looks like it just straight missed the focus even though the camera was locked on to the duck.

Today with the TC1.4x - lighting was way better yesterday.

Yesterday. TC2.0. Maybe just missed focus again? Good light.

Yesterday - TC2.0x looks good even in crappy light.
