Assuming everything goes as planned, my wife and I will be experiencing Nightwish live later this year for the first time.

With the devastating news of Marko’s departure, I’m left wondering what songs they might play at the concert. His vocals are essential in so many of my favorites (I Want My Tears Back, Greatest Show on Earth, Romanticide, Ever Dream, Wish I Had An Angel, Weak Fantasy, 7 Days to the Wolves, Yours is an Empty Hope... the list goes on).

I only started listening to NW about a year ago, and with such an extensive discography my wife and I want to focus on getting to know better the lyrics/songs that they might play at the concert. I imagine they’ll play some songs off the new album, but what classic songs might they go back to? Maybe they’ll find a new bassist who can hold a torch to Marko’s vocal legacy?
