Has anyone had germination problems with Star Spangled Banner?

Ive never in my life had a seed fail on me. I got a 5 pack. So far out of the 5, 1 germinated and is growing. Had 2 die in the soil. Have 2 left. Was trying to do a double run but nervous the first ones getting too far along. Just wondering if anyone else had problems or if im screwing up.
