Two rules questions here if you can help me out
I’ve watched an unhealthy amount of hockey for years and I’ve never seen an offsides challenge/overturning on a play in which the ozone was gained by a dump in from neutral zone. Even tho I’ve seen egregious offside plays made that way. Is that not reviewable or not offsides? I figured I’ve never seen it for a reason.
When an attacking player chips the puck down the boards and tries to skate around a defending forward, it seems like the defender has free rein to interfere with the attacking player for a few seconds. I always yell “interference!” but have no idea if it is.
