Going to my first hockey game as an Away fan. What should I expect?

Long story short this is my first hockey game in person, I'm a Devils fan but live on Long Island going to an Islanders v Devils game. Because they're so close in proximity I can assume it would be fine for me to wear my Devils stuff, I'm sure I won't be the only Devil's fan there. But I honestly just don't know what to expect.
