How can I finish all of my special events

I am currently in a bad mood because I have just barely lost on trying to get Nissan R34 in a special event. When I start a special event I usually start of well. I finish the 1st,2nd,3rd, and 4th days pretty quickly but when I get to the second to last event I barely finish. When I’m at the last day I just can’t finish it on time because of the final 17 events. This has also happened to me in the Terminal Velocity event. I want to know how people overcome this without paying real money. I am currently redoing the McLaren P1 event and I want to know how to finish this event as quickly as possible without paying.
