Former Jacksonville reporter remembers seeing "about 80 fights" in the stands the last time the Jaguars won an away game, specifically the Raiders' final home game in Oakland.
Post Body

Here is an interesting tweet from John Reid, former Jaguars reporter for the Florida Times-Union in Jacksonville:

Finally that miserable 18-game road losing streak coming to an end for the Jaguars. Hadn't won on the road since Dec. 15, 2019 - the final Raiders home game played in Oakland Minshew led the comeback. Saw about 80 fights in the stadium that day from the press box.

It's plausible that the combination of booze with the Raiders' poor play in their "farewell to Oakland" game caused emotions to run high and led to an environment prone to fists flying. But eighty fights sounds incredibly wild.

I mean, anything less than 80 is considered a dull affair.
