🃏NFL Wild Card Weekend Predictions Thread (2022 Playoffs)🃏
Post Body

Happy Wild Card Week, /r/NFL! I hope everyone had a great 2021 playing along and continue with us into the 2022 postseason. We're in playoff territory now, with Wild Card weekend coming up. For the regular season, Week 18 gave me a 11-5 result, bringing me to 180-92 out of 272 games (66.18% correct). I would love to hear everyone else's final results if you all want to post them.

Raiders @ Bengals 4:30p ET on NBC Bengals Cincy rested Burrow and other starters and also didn't have Mixon because of COVID. That will make the Bengals fresh in getting their first playoff win since 1990. Burrow and Chase will be the keys to making this happen. This is a tough turnaround for the Raiders, who tired out playing into OT on Sunday night.
Patriots @ Bills 8:15p ET on CBS Bills The Pats and Bills also meet for a third time after each winning once this season. New England ran all over Buffalo the first time in a windy road win, while Buffalo figured out how to win at Foxborough by moving the offense around Allen. Expect a well-coached defensive battle between Belichick and McDermott. Jones will get good support, but he's still rookie while Allen is young with playoff experience.

Eagles @ Buccaneers 1:00p ET on FOX Buccaneers Tampa won at Philly in Week 6. Unfortunately for the Eagles, their offensive strengths don't mesh with beating the Bucs this time, either. The run-heavy approach won't work against the Bucs' stout run D. And Philly can't stop the run and receiving corps Brady will target. Brady led the Bucs over a weak NFC East team last year, letting him get more locked in. He'll adjust to no Godwin and AB and should also get rushing and defensive help to bring Tampa the win.
49ers @ Cowboys 4:30p ET on CBS/Nickelodeon/Amazon Cowboys Dallas decided to play their starters in Week 18 and were rewarded. The 49ers made it happen by coming back to beat the Rams in OT. Both teams can run the ball when needed, but the Niners are more committed to it. The Cowboys, have more reliable matchups across the board in the passing game, while Jimmy G is also playing through his thumb injury. San Fran will try to slow down the game to keep Dak off the field. Dallas will try to force Jimmy into mistakes, with Parsons and Diggs leading the press-coverage.
Steelers @ Chiefs 8:15p ET on NBC Chiefs Although it's nice Big Ben gets one more playoff game to cap his career, Mahomes and the Chiefs have found their ideal approach with their offense. They will keep pivoting to strong running setting up downfield passing. Pittsburgh will try to stay grounded with Harris and put Watt and the defense in more favorable spots to get after Mahomes. But they need a lot more from Big Ben and the passing game, which may be underwhelming despite the weapons. Big Ben walks off to the sunset, while Mahomes keeps progressing.

Cardinals @ Rams 8:15p ET on ESPN/ABC/ESPN Cardinals Many folks are calling the Cardinals winning an upset, but one just has to look at how badly the Rams lost in OT last week to dismiss that thought. Arizona is a great road team while the Rams had more issues at home. If Murray can make big plays while cutting down on mistakes and use more of his legs, they'll get the win. Stafford has faced more pressure lately and has been more careless downfield. Arizona has more versatility to work around L.A.'s defense, while their defense will make up for what gives up running and passing with key sacks and takeaways.

Those are my predictions, let's hear yours. Keep it civil and fun. Best of luck!

Divisional Round based off current predictions.
