Denver will most likely be phoning it in, with Teddy probably not starting after spending two weeks in concussion protocol and Lock probably starting, so who knows what's going to happen. KC still has the #1 seed to fight for so they'll bring it. Denver could try and play spoiler but I don't see that happening. |
Cowboys |
over |
Eagles |
Both teams are in it so this should be a great game. Dallas can move up in seeding and Philly could shift around in the WC seeding, so a lot to play for. Depending on how this plays out and how big the homefield turns out, this could go either way. Coin flip on this one for me, but I think Dallas has a slight edge if they play their starters the whole game. |
Ravens |
over |
Steelers |
The Steelers will try to sweep the Ravens to salvage a disappointing season. Baltimore has been able to miraculously stay at .500, thanks to Coach Harbaugh. Baltimore will finish off at home to create good vibes for a better 2022 season with Jackson. |
Bengals |
over |
Browns |
Cincy can still slide in seeding if they phone this one in, so I think we'll see a good chunk of Burrow and Chase in the first half and possibly sit some folks if they're leading. Cleveland could play spoiler, but I have little confidence this Browns team can pull that off. |
Lions |
over |
Packers |
Green Bay has no reason to put any of their starters on the field. The question is, can Detroit's starters win against the Packer's second/third stringers. I think they have a good chance to get the win and go 3-13-1. |
Titans |
over |
Texans |
Tennessee is playing the Texans, but they're really fighting with KC this week for the #1 seed. Houston will play spoiler and try to sweep the Titans, but Vrabel will make things work and keep them in the hunt for the top spot. |
Colts |
over |
Jaguars |
Likewise, Indy needs to play seriously against Jacksonville because an upset here could knock them out of the playoffs. The Jags will definitely pull out all the stops for an upset, but if the Colts show up then they should get this one. |
Vikings |
over |
Bears |
Both teams are playing for pride in this one. Cousins could return from the COVID list, and the Bears could start either Dalton or Foles, so a lot up in the air. Will this be either Zimmer or Nagy's last game? Or both? The Vikings finish off a disappointing season with a home win. |
Washington |
over |
Giants |
This could be the last time we call them the Washington Football Team, which is pretty cool. Another pride game here, and I'll take the better coach in Rivera over Judge for this week. |
Saints |
over |
Falcons |
The Saints have played some damn ugly football since Winston got injured, but the defense has been phenominal, winning them most of their games. They avoid a sweep by the Dirty Birds and could see a surprise playoff spot if San Fran loses. NOLA could be the "shouldn't be in the playoffs" team this year. |
Bills |
over |
Jets |
Buffalo will need to bring everything since the division hasn't been decided. The Jets will definitely play for pride and spoilers. They almost upset the Brady-led Bucs last week so they have the juice to pull off an upset. But if Allen plays like he's been doing, then Buffalo should win this. |
Patriots |
over |
Dolphins |
Likewise, the Pats need to play all out to have a chance to take the division away from Buffalo. Jones played well enough to take New England into the postseason. Now he just needs one more good game against Tua for seeding. |
Buccaneers |
over |
Panthers |
The Bucs can't do too much shifting from the #3 seed, save a 49ers win. So they'll play their starters but keep an eye on the scoreboard and possibly rest them if there's no path to #2. |
Seahawks |
over |
Cardinals |
Arizona is pretty much locked in to the #5 seed, so they'll rest their starters this week. If Wilson is playing his last stretch of ball for Seattle, then he's definitely going to start and play his heart out. |
Rams |
over |
49ers |
A lot hinging on the outcome of this game. Not only in seeding but this could decide if San Fran or NOLA gets into the playoffs. The Niners will have limited rushing success an probably relying on rookie QB Lance. On the other side, Stafford will reduce the turnovers and pick apart a secondary not built to slow down his receivers. |
Raiders |
over |
Chargers |
My upset pick, kind of. It's a win-and-in scenario for both teams, and it should awesome. Four of the last five meetings have been one-score games, and Herbert led a 30-27 win the last time they met. Hopefully TE Waller (knee) will return for the game. The Raiders pay tribute to their former coach and play some Madden football in the last game of the season. |
