Bears |
over |
Lions |
Looks like Dalton will be the starter after Fields got a rib injury, and Goff may sit out with an oblique injury. So we're going to see the cream of the crop behind center... just kidding. This is the game you have on in the background while your cooking the turkey and making all the sides. The Bears will do just enough to keep Nagy for another week. |
Cowboys |
over |
Raiders |
This game is more palatable than the early one. Dallas won't have former Raider Cooper due to COVID and Lamb has a concussion, so look for them to rely on Zeke for points. Vegas will stay in there with plays from Waller and Renfrow, but the Cowboys defense will pressure the Raiders enough to get the win. |
Bills |
over |
Saints |
I should be really pumped about this one. Playing at home on Thanksgiving, with Brees not only commentating but also being honored at halftime. The atmosphere should be amazing and should rile the team up. But the lingering injuries, the terrible kicking game, the lack of a competent QB (if Hill isn't starting), Kamara possibly missing another game, and playing on a short week will be too much for the Saints, even with their amazing defense. The Bills don't blow them out, but it'll take a Turkey Day miracle for NOLA to get the win here. |
Bengals |
over |
Steelers |
It hasn't happened in 12 years, but the Bengals have an opportunity to sweep the Steelers this week. Injuries to Watt, Fitzpatrick, and Haden open up the door for plays from Burrow, Mixon, and Chase. If Cincy can control Big Ben, they have a chance. |
Buccaneers |
over |
Colts |
Brady has a long history of winning in Indy. Tampa has the league best run defense right now, which will be put to the test with Taylor who is averaging almost 158 yds rushing. It'll be close up to the fourth, where Tampa's defense will find opportunities to get Brady near the endzone. |
Panthers |
over |
Dolphins |
Interesting how Cam (Auburn) and Tua (Alabama) will be facing each other a day after the Iron Bowl. Miami won't have any way to stop Cam and CMC from running all over them. Tua will play well and their defense will get some good stops, but I'll take the Panthers in a close one. |
Patriots |
over |
Titans |
The combo of a constantly improving Jones and a defense that hasn't allowed an average of 10 ppg at home will be enough to control a Titans team still reeling from injuries. If Tennessee had more healthy players, this game could probably go the other way. |
Eagles |
over |
Giants |
The Eagles have a two game momentum going and the Giants are coming off a short week loss. Jones' team has been playing spoiler for fringe playoff teams, so this could end up in an upset. But I think Hurts will make more plays with his legs and outscore the Giants in the fourth. |
Falcons |
over |
Jaguars |
The Falcons are a hard team to read from week to week but they are taking a short road trip to Jacksonville on a long week. The Jags have an opportunity to play spoiler here, but Lawrence needs to live up to the hype and the defense needs to get out of their funk and make plays. Otherwise, Georgia fans will gloat over finally getting a win over Urban Meyer. |
Texans |
over |
Jets |
The Texans may actually be able to start a winning streak... as weird as that may seem. Taylor is more than capable of taking advantage of a suspect defense which is exactly what the Jets have. Look for more turnovers as the Texans have five in the last two games while the Jets are -15 for the season. |
Chargers |
over |
Broncos |
Herbert is 3-1 with a 100.6 QBR on the road. With momentum from their win against Pittsburgh, the rest of the offense will keep rolling and Staley can scheme well to pressure Teddy. The Broncos are healthier coming off a bye, so it should be a close game. |
Packers |
over |
Rams |
Rams are coming off a bye with Miller and OBJ yet to make a splash on the field. Jenkins is injured and Rodgers has a hurt toe. Which logically concludes to the Packers winning this one. That's just how it works, folks. Adams will see more catches along with a mix of running from Dillon and Jones. Packers win at home leading into December football. |
Vikings |
over |
49ers |
Should be a good matchup between two fringe playoff teams. Cousins, Cook and Jefferson have all played very well the past few weeks and if Minnesota's defense can continue to play better then they have a chance. Kittle and Samuel are providing opportunities for Garoppolo to make plays, making this a toss-up game. San Fran is 1-4 at home. |
Ravens |
over |
Browns |
Jackson missed Week 11, and Baker is battling a series of nagging injuries. Baltimore has the league's second best run defense, which will be the difference maker. Huntley will do just enough to get them over the hump. |
Washington |
over |
Seahawks |
Washington has beaten two playoff contenders in recent weeks. They are riding high and their defense is playing better. Look for them to keep their playoff hopes alive and pile the pressure on Seattle. Wilson hasn't been the same since his injury, throwing for zero TDs and 2 INTs. |
