NFL 2020 Playoffs Predictions Thread - Championship Round
Post Body

It's the Championship Round, /r/NFL! This is it... this is for all the marbles. After last week's crazy games, we should be guaranteed repeat performances by the remaining teams. The Divisional Round had me coming out at 3-1, bringing me to an even 4-4 on the playoffs. I would love to hear everyone else's final results if you all want to post them. I'm going to be boring yet again on this one. Sorry guys.

Titans @ Chiefs 3:05p ET on CBS Chiefs I think this will be a crazy close game. The Chiefs get the rematch at home from the Week 10 matchup, and they know it won't be easy after the Titans knocked off the Patriots and the Ravens on the road. The Chiefs also have the No. 26-ranked run defense from the regular season, allowing on average 4.9 yards per carry. They know Henry's coming and can't expect to stop it, because no one could so far. Kansas City should focus on Tennessee having the No. 24 pass defense. Mahomes is fully healthy and red-hot, operating at a high level in an explosive and well-rounded passing game. So there are no breaks for the Titans in that aspect of the game, and their matchups are bad against both Kelce and Hill. Vrabel will keep it close, and Reid will play it conservative at times. But Kansas City will be able to go into overdrive in the second half to keep the game just out of reach for Henry and Tannehill.

Packers @ 49ers 6:40p ET on FOX 49ers Another great game calling back to a regular season matchup. The Packers got blasted by the 49ers 37-8 during Week 12 in San Francisco. Rodgers threw for only 104 yards on 33 attempts and was sacked five times. Green Bay didn't have much of a running game to support him and fell into a big hole by halftime. Green Bay has no choice but to play better offensively this time, with the "triplets" of Rodgers, wide receiver Davante Adams and running back Aaron Jones coming off an effective divisional playoff game against the Seahawks and working behind a solid line. The problem will lie in the Packers' defense trying to slow down the 49ers. San Francisco has a deep backfield and Green Bay's front seven is built more to rush the passer, but performs poorly against the run. There won't be sudden secondary answers against Garoppolo's go-to guys, Kittle and Samuel. The 49ers also can get the Packers out of position with misdirection, motion and play-action.

Those are my predictions, let's hear yours. Keep it civil and fun. Best of luck!

Update: 2-0, on to the Super Bowl!
