NFL Week 15 Predictions Thread (2019 Season)
Post Body

Week 15 is here, /r/NFL! Which means this is the last week of Thursday Night Football. Had a lot of good games last week, hopefully the trend will continue. We only have four divisional matchups on the list. The pot of eliminated teams has doubled to 10. Last week, I went 10-6, bringing me to 129-79. Please share how you're doing so far. Let's get to it!

Playoff Picture loaded with my picks.

Winner Loser Comments
Ravens over Jets Baltimore has the league's sixth-ranked defense in addition to its NFL-best scoring offense. Lamar Jackson and this high flying Ravens team will complete the season sweep of AFC East opponents.
Patriots over Bengals Nothing can cure the Patriots' struggles quite like a matchup against the NFL's worst team.
Seahawks over Panthers Carolina hasn't been able to stop the run all season, and even without Rashaad Penny, the ground game is Seattle's ticket to a win Sunday and, eventually, a potential playoff run. The post-Rivera era doesn't look pretty, at least for the rest of this season.
Buccaneers over Lions Tampa Bay is taking a three-game winning streak into Detroit. Chances are the Bucs will pull off a win, because unless Matthew Stafford returns to put pressure on their defense, Detroit doesn't pose much of a threat. As long as Jameis Winston can overcome the loss of Mike Evans and avoid game-changing turnovers, that is.
Packers over Bears This game should be a fun one to watch. The Bears are also on the three-game winning streak going into a tough matchup in Green Bay. The loss of Roquan Smith is bad news for its rush defense, and the Bears will be too dependent on their inconsistent running game to keep things close. But this could not matter at all, being a division game. I'm going to play it safe and pick the Packers, but I don't know.
Chiefs over Broncos Good news for Denver: Its offense is on a hot streak with Drew Lock being the spark. Bad news for Denver: Kansas City's offense is even hotter. Chiefs will get a little bit closer to stealing a bye from New England this week.
Dolphins over Giants Both teams have shown some fight of late, but Miami has shown a little bit more.
Texans over Titans Houston's flop against Denver combined with Tennessee's domination of Oakland suggests the trends will continue and the Titans will replace the Texans in the playoff picture. I'm playing contrarian this week and picking the Texans to maintain the lead.
Eagles over Redskins Guys, I think this is the week we finally see an NFC East division leader without a losing record! I know, it's an amazing thing, right?
Browns over Cardinals I have no idea on this one. This is a game Kitchens' team should win as it tries to stay alive in the playoff picture, but its season has been defined by frustration confusion. A loss in Arizona would be fitting, but I'm giving them a chance here.
Raiders over Jaguars The battle of two disappointing, once-promising AFC contenders. With Oakland still holding on for dear life to a playoff possibility, the motivation is higher for them.
Vikings over Chargers Minnesota is clinging to its wild-card spot in the NFC. Powered by Dalvin Cook and the running game, the Vikings should produce just enough points to survive.
Cowboys over Rams Is this an upset? I don't know anymore. I'm mostly picking Dallas because they're due for a win against a good team and I want to see them duke it out with the Eagles for the division title.
49ers over Falcons This isn't the matchup Falcons coach Quinn needs right now as he tries to salvage his job, playing a road games against arguably the best team in the NFC. The 49ers will take advantage of the Falcons' struggling defense, and their pass rush will be all over Matt Ryan.
Bills over Steelers These teams are where they are in Week 15 thanks to their defenses, and statistically speaking, Buffalo's unit has been slightly better. The QB issues will catch up to Pittsburgh, and Josh Allen will put on another impressive showing in front of a national TV audience.
Saints over Colts The Saints get an extra day this week to think about their heartbreaking loss to the 49ers. Good thing they'll be distracted by the kind of film study that should revive their confidence. While the Colts aren't far off from the Saints statistically, especially on defense, the records tell the tale of this tape. New Orleans, especially at home and still challenging for a top seed in the NFC playoffs, is by far the more trustworthy team.

Update: 12-4, not too shabby.

Those are my predictions, let's hear yours. Keep it civil and fun. Best of luck!
