Bo Nix threw for 29 TDs this season as a rookie
John Elway's best passing TD season was in 1997 with 27 TDs.
Different eras, can't really compare. Bo Nix is a stud and going to be a great quarterback and maybe an all time great IF he continues on this projectory. But in Elway's defense, he was an all time great/still is an all time great. Dude was just a winner. Won games every season and led the Broncos to 5 Superbowl appearances, yes he only won 2 of them.... But back then the AFC never won lol.. NFC had all the talent. Elway was like Josh Allen before Josh Allen if I had to compare him to somebody. Elway and Allen are like if you combined Favre & Vick into one QB. Old school gun slingers who are mobile as hell. In today's modern NFL Elway would have put up more efficient numbers like Josh Allen with modern day game plans and all the rule changes and such.
