My understanding is he is out of practice squad elevations, so to bring him up, they have to give him a roster spot. He actually played really well to begin the year, but I suppose the coaches want to see what they have in rookie Layden Robinson, and the only way to find out is to play him. We also have Cole Strange potentially returning soon, so that is a factor as well.
Our interior line is in flux, but our tackles are a mess. It really doesn't matter how they shuffle the chairs of the guards and center because of how bad the tackles have been.
