I think the bigger problem is book ending reality. Flacco came in, tore it up. If Winston comes in and all the sudden the offense works and Watson is healthy, he's done. You cannot justify starting him again.
Also, it feels like the browns are in tank mode since they have their 2025 1st and if they can nail down a top 5 pick they could luck into a QB.
We're talking Cleveland. Stefanski is a competent coach, but Haslem signed up for Watson and there's no doubt he wants to see him play DND not be smacked with the reality that literally any other QB would make the Browns better.

I think it's a conundrum for him.
If Stefanski benches Watson he's never going back in barring everyone is injured and it all but ensures Stefanski is likely gone.
If he keeps Watson playing it's going to reach a boiling point with players all mad and demanding something be done. It's hurting offensive players value, it's exhausting the defense and special teams. Watson is the worst starting QB (Bryce Young included) in the NFL.
