There's an interesting story in The Atlantic right now about all the drama going on with The Washington Post, and it goes into a lot of detail about Bezos' management of it, or lack thereof. The story characterizes Bezos as very hands-off with the whole deal. And when the paper was in crisis mode at the end of 2022, it took Bob Woodward having to contact Bezos directly to get his attention to deal with what was going on.
I'm not so sure Bezos is all that interested in NFL ownership. Ownership requires a level of attention that he doesn't seem interested in providing. The NFL team would be a toy to him.
