Help me and a friend settle a gentleman's bet!

Ok so my friend is very drunk and loves football so naturally we got into an argument. Here's the thing we can't figure out/find on google, and I figure someone here has to know: Is there a current (or past) football team that has made it to the super bowl more than once, but has never won it? I say no but he says yes, and neither of us have any reason for thinking that way.
Incentive you say? First correct answer=many internet points and I will root for your team with my whole heart in a game of your choice in the upcoming season as long as they aren't playing the Redskins.
