Eagles |

Vikings |
When you have an advantage of playing at home to start the season against Baker Mayfield on a brand-new team and you lose, it raises some concerns. The Vikings still have a potentially explosive offense, but now they're 0-1 going up to Philly who are making their home debut. Although the Eagles weren’t perfect last week, they still went into Foxboro and got a win on the road to kick off the year. This is an elite team. Eagles by a touchdown on TNF. |
Packers |
over |
Falcons |
Both these teams are coming off an impressive win over a division rival. I think the Falcons are going to struggle against the Packers’ pass rush while Love will be comfortable passing to his young offense. |
Bills |
over |
Raiders |
The Raiders found a way to beat the Broncos despite having 10 penalties for nearly 100 yards and without a great performance by Jacobs. The Bills are coming off of an OT loss to the Jets, with Allen throwing three INTs and fumbling once. Allen will have a chip on his shoulder at home and this could be brutal for the Raiders. |
Bengals |
over |
Ravens |
From one division matchup to the next, Cincy will be at home this time. While Burrow struggles in his matchups against the Browns, he's thrived against the Ravens when they have had tough defenses. Baltimore has a weak secondary and their running game is now minus Dobbins and not letting Lamar run as much. The Ravens have some exciting young receivers, but the Bengals are underrated with their pass rush and coverage. |
Lions |
over |
Seahawks |
You know Detroit is going to be rocking after that unexpected win against the Super Bowl champs last week. Geno Smith and his receivers will do their best to keep Seattle in the game, but the Lions will be too much and with an extended rest, come away with a win. |
Chargers |
over |
Titans |
Henry should have a big rushing game with some help from Spears behind him, but the Titans will run out of firepower with a struggling Tannehill. Herbert can pick apart the Titans' secondary with multiple receivers and Ekeler can also move around the run defense. Offensive problems will still linger for Tennessee. |
Buccaneers |
over |
Bears |
Is Baker the Brady replacement, not only on paper, but in actuality? With the unexpected win last week, we all got caught off guard. He will be comfortable in facing little pass rush and Chicago's corners will have their hands full with Evans and Godwin. |
Chiefs |
over |
Jaguears |
The Chiefs can't start the season 0-2, can they? Mahomes should sort out the offense with Kelce back as his go-to guy. Lawrence, Ridley and the Jaguars' loaded weapons can make this a close one. Mahomes digs deep to find his playoff self in a possible shootout. |
Texans |
over |
Colts |
Toss-up division game with two rookie QBs on either side. The Texans' defense has a big issue against the run, but won't be facing Taylor. They are good against the pass under DeMeco Ryans. Stroud looked good last week when getting time to hit his wideouts. Could be a good, sloppy game with a lot of rookie mistakes on both sides. |
49ers |
over |
Rams |
Stafford and Donald being back and healthy is such a big asset for the Rams. But the Niners look like they'll keep rolling and L.A. won't have much answers in the key matchups with Purdy, his key receivers and CMC. |
Giants |
over |
Cardinals |
As bad as the Giants were in Week 1, this is as big a get-right game as you will find. Cardinals HC Gannon is still getting his footing, so I think the Giants are going to take this one. They need to establish the ground game with Barkley and get that O-line some confidence after last week. |
Cowboys |
over |
Jets |
With the way Dallas molly-whomped the other New York team last week, it's hard to pick against them in this matchup. Especially with Rodgers out for the season.... it'll be hard to pick the Jets in a lot of matchups this year. I hope the Jets enjoyed the OT division win, because there won't be much of that for a while. |
Broncos |
over |
Commanders |
Washington and Denver will be hard to predict this season. Payton needs to pick up the pieces and wake up Wilson and the offense ASAP. Howell did some nice things in the opener, but was sloppy with the ball. Payton gets the better of Rivera in a throwback NFC South matchup. |
Dolphins |
over |
Patriots |
Miami's offense is something that can drive the Pat's defense nuts with getting its players in open field. New England's offense can't test the Ramsey-less secondary well without a good receiving corps. Tua is playing on point and can outduel his old college teammate Mac Jones. |
Saints |
over |
Panthers |
Saints won the defensive battle last week, with three INTs on Tannehill. But that O-line needs some help for Carr to make great plays. The Saints' running game without Kamara isn't as dynamic and will give Carolina a chance contain the passing game. But in the end, Carr has a little more receiving support than rookie Young, and the NOLA defense will keep them ahead throughout the night. |
Browns |
over |
Steelers |
I don’t know how much of a chance you can really give Pickett in a matchup like this, especially after this past weekend as the Steelers were driven into the ground at home against the 49ers with five sacks on him. The Browns have a pass rush that is equally potent. Pickett won't have a great game against this Cleveland defense. |
