Change up of Nexus Embassy board
Post Body

Hey guys, just to update the Nexus Reddit community. About an our ago Colin announced that both Preston and Keith will be stepping down from the board of directors for the Nexus embassy.

Colin's official statement is here:

"Nexus Community,

Keith Smith and Preston Smith have decided to leave the The Nexus Embassy board of directors and the Nexus Core team to pursue other endeavors. We would like to thank them for all the hard work and dedication they have shown to the project and wish them well in all future endeavors!

Nexus Core Team"

Keith has also since responded with the following

"I love Nexus but I’m burnt out. Gave my every waking moment all summer long from sunrise until midnight. I love Nexus, I love this community, but it’s time to let others take those reigns and allow more expertise enter my positions. I used to be able to handle what numbers of people have to do now. Nexus has grown significantly. I couldn’t have done it with out all of you and all the new team members. We all have a very bright future that lays ahead of us."

I think it goes without saying that Nexus would not be where it is today without them and I would like to personally thank Preston and Keith for everything that they have done in the years leading up to me joining the community and also the help they have provided to get me started and into this great project.

I really hope they both stick around as community members and Nexus makes them proud.

Mike
