Just wanted to drop a line. I have been trying to activate my Nexus 6 on VZW since last Thursday. I purchased it from Motorola with a promo code. It arrived and I went into a corporate store and they told me they could not give me sim for a non-vzw device. I said that it has been done many times and that they needed to contact Tier 2 support for confirmation, I was told that I could make the call, so I did. The gentleman asked me for my info and said it would take a day to get in the system. He said he would 2-day ship my sim to me. He heard the comments of the vzw employees and told me to just walk out of the store. So that was last Thursday and I had not received my sim card yet. I contacted vzw and they said the order had been cancelled and that the info for my phone was not in the system. I was told that since it was a non-vzw device they would not be able to add it to the database. He could however send me the sim for it and I could try activating it. So that is where I am at. I get the sim on Thursday supposedly. Any thoughts? What should I do at this point? Motorola assured me that this phone would work fine on vzw's network. Thanks.
