Root Nexus 5x running Pixel Experience ROM

Post Body

Recently I purchased a Nexus 5x solely for the purpose of toying around with the software and after flashing a few ROMS, I finally decided on the Pixel Experience ROM. The only problem was, once I flashed it, it unrooted my phone and since then nothing I’ve tried worked. I tried to flash both supersu and Magisk, and neither worked. I also tried those bogus one-click roots just for fun and neither of those worked either. The only progress I made of some sort was last night when I soft-bricked my phone after accidentally flashing an old version of supersu (I think it was 2.42) but thankfully I was able to reinstall the stock OS and flash Pixel Experience again. With all that said, could someone give me a hand on what to do? I hate when my phones aren’t rooted, I always feel so constricted.

[UPDATE] Solved this problem by flashing the magisk BETA zip. Their website recommended that if I was having issues with the normal magisk to try flashing a beta version to see if it works, and it did the trick! Thanks for anyone who tried to help.
