Error when trying to install Elemental X kernel

I rooted my phone yesterday and I am trying to install the ElementalX kernel. I am currently on the stock 7.0 ROM and kernel. I'm attempting to install the ElementalX ZIP file using TWRP, however I get an error saying "ZIP signature verification failed - md5 not found". There is an option to flash without verifying but I don't feel comfortable about it. Should I just go ahead and flash the zip anyway?
