Before my Nexus 5X, I was switching between an iPhone and an LG G3 quite often. The iPhone had my preferred size and the G3 had the features. I really think if ALL Android devices ran stock, more people would come over from iPhone. It's a premium software experience.
Also, I do have a G3 so I know how nice QHD can be. The 5X's screen might not be QHD but side by side to a G3, it's hard to tell. The bottom line, the 5X screen looks really good.
Last, for being all plastic, the build quality is exceptional. I really didn't believe it till I had the phone but the phone is plastic without feeling like it, if that makes sense. I don't know if I'd want an all metal phone considering how nice this one feels.
Overall, really impressed with this phone considering it was kind of glanced over by top reviewer's like Techno Buffalo and MKBHD. Not everyone wants a 6P that looks like you are walking around talking into a book and this phone should not be compared to lower end devices like the OnePlus X. Even the retro vibration sounds are cool.
Definitely a phone to look at considering the recent price drop.
