Hey Everyone,

So I was recently at a NYE party where a few of us were going to play some songs off our devices. The sound system was maxed out and connected to a MacBook with some songs for the beginning for the night, it was nice and loud. Then I switched to my Nexus 5X, and any track I played was much less loud than the MacBook. This was with or without the equalizer. So we quickly changed to a friends iPhone with the same track and it was significantly louder, almost to the MacBook level. I then wanted to play another song, even downloaded other music players and it just was not as loud as it could/should have been.

I guess not all headphone jacks are created equal, is there any way to increase the volume further via software?
