Location History not working?

I just upgraded from my Nexus 4 to my Nexus 5x within the past week. My Nexus 4 has location history on and worked fine (especially since it needs to be turned on for some of Moto360's data to work).
However, when I upgraded to my Nexus 5x, it says my location history is not available in my country. Anyone know how to fix this or why it's like that?
