I just can't get past the whole meta of it all. It's like if the conversation isn't about politics or somebody's racist view of society it's just old people praying and blessing each other or complaining about grass and weather and all the things they're afraid of. Oh, and the obligatory lost dog posts and posts from contractors and handyman workers that are gaming the platform for free advertising. The most interesting thing about it are the little groups of "conservatives" and "liberals" that just spend all day reporting each other's posts until someone gets banned, it's all live action role play for those people. How is Nextdoor making that profitable? I really would like to know because if there's money to be made here, I wouldn't mind investing, I guess I'm just missing the bigger picture.
