I've been a tenant myself for a long time and have dealt with many crappy property managers! I'm now looking to rent the house out for a bit when we move to AU.
I'm wondering - how essential are property managers for actually renting out a house? I'm aware of the process myself and would choose tenants and do the bond/lease forms myself. I have family in WGTN that could be the point of contact for tenants if needed. So I'm wondering how essential a property manager really is? Am I missing a huge part of the job they do? Thanks.
(Also apologies to any property managers reading this who aren't dirtbags I know it must suck that you have a rep due to the bag eggs, I'm aware of that!)
