These aren't any big brain solutions, just some super easily implemented ones that would promote being flagged. My server is an even split of factions currently (4, 4, 3 Territories, with one flipping every other day), and I can go several hours a day without encountering a single flagged person. I am always flagged outside of elite chests with guild. The pvp in this game is very fun, and being able to 1vX with enough skill and patience is incredibly rewarding, the opportunity just doesn't happen enough. 10% experience is quite literally worthless at 60, one can make the argument that 60 is where MOST of the pvp should happen, and yet the current bonus promotes fighting below max level, it almost feels like an insult to be honest. We need incentive for the middle of the road players, players like me will always be flagged regardless, the players on the other side will never flag, the middle of the road players, the majority of the player base need a reason to flag, here are some super easy solutions:
Give X% Gathering Speed
Give X% Gathering Luck
Give X% Bonus Yield
Give X% reduced durability on death
All 4 of these are already in game on something, so you cannot tell me the code would be hard to implement, [If PvP Flag=X Bonus]
The slightly harder, but ultimately best solution in my opinion would be
Give X% Bonus Movespeed
My personal favorite solution would be to implement bonus move speed while flagged. As it wouldn't impact PvP fights, as you're still even, but would cause a large percentage of the population to flag, as we spend so much time running about. And an even slightly harder to implement, but likely even better option would be
Give X% Bonus movespeed while on roads between settlements
Could even make it tied to the town board, which loses a lot of purpose once you hjit 60 as well. Make the towns able to upgrade the roads, which would further promote fights, as roads would be more utilized.
