Getting into Gorgons

I've been 65 for a few days now and mostly doing CK runs, daily Mutated expeditions and I'm 695 with a decent 725 longsword and a 699 spear. What would you recommend if I want to get invited into Gorgons? Obviously, I'll watch several guides to get a good understanding of the mechanics before. I'm currently guildless on Valhalla and keep hearing people very rarely accept newcomers in groups. Ty for your help! :)
