I'm a huge fan of open world action/survival games. I've played more or less extensively Conan, Ark and Valheim, with the latter one taking the place of "best one so far" for my personal taste.
Recently I've decided to give New World a chance since I've seen it kinda enjoyed and since I like gathering resources and crafting, and this game seemed to have these qualities.
30 hours in and my usual experience is kinda flat.
Reach a spot for a mission or an event, pushing buttons without too much strategy or thinking since usually the place has random spawn of enemies and at least other 3 or 4 players there that basically turns the fight completely easy to win.
So, uhm, am I doing something wrong or is the game like this till the end? Any answer like "After level 50 or something the real game starts" would still point out an issue for me, the game should be engaging from the very beginning.
Anyhow, I'm curious to hear your opinions guys.
