I started taking to my recruiter in mid to late February. Then covid hit which delayed everything for a long time.
I do understand Covid-19 has taking a toll on staffing and what not.
I took my asvab in the beginning of July. Had a med read in before that on April 9th and have been just having them delayed left and right and they still haven’t processed them.
I’ve need to resubmit paperwork because they have expired like 3-4 times. While waiting for MEPS to review and pass my med read.
Last update I got was on August 12th from my recruiter telling me MEPS San Diego is still reviewing. So the lead recruiter at my recruiting station went down to San Diego to ask them what’s up with the delay on August 24th
But besides that nothing, no news on updates. No saying on when I can go back to MEPS to do the medical screen and swear in.
I must say, that’s it’s getting hard to stay motivated , when everything keeps getting delayed and not having any real updates on anything.
I started the process in mid to late February and besides me taking the asvab nothing else has happened in almost 8 months.
I still really want to join the Navy, and I qualified for the rate I wanted, but at this point idk what to do.
