Went to MEPS this past week to get my PiCat score verified. Got launched into full ASVAB. Was told I did pretty good and most careers will be open except NUCs which I was considering. To be honest though the more I researched careers, the more I feel I could see myself doing each one. (I've never excelled in an area and been a jack of many trades.)
Looking for any advice, stories, experiences on different career paths on y'all's time in the Navy. What to look out for? What to keep in mind? What you wish you would've known prior? What you would've done differently? All Recommendations/rants you want to share.
Scores GS:63 AR:60 WK:61 PC:59 MK:62 EI:61 AS:44 MC:50 AO:54 VE:61 CS:33
AFQT: 90
Background: 28. Always have been really indecisive when it comes to choices. Have an associates in General Health. Was working towards a bachelors in Heath Admin but felt stagnant in terms of wanting to continue education for the time being. Come from a low income, immigrant family. Recently come to the realization that I needed to make a change to better myself without being a burden on my family.
Right now my pick is HM. But I'm also considering transferable careers paths such as communications, IT, and crypto. Trying to make the best decision for me.
Thanks y'all!
