I’m not sure what the laws are or how to approach this but there is a big dog (some sort of Shepard thing) that has been terrorizing my street and surrounding streets for about 2 years. This dog is big (120ish pounds I would say) and has zero discipline. The owner are neglectful and whenever an incident happens they claim he was “just playing.” This dog has DRAWN BLOOD from people and dogs hes attacked UNPROVOKED on multiple occasions. Countless people have called animal control but nothing has been done yet. After another incident occurred today where a woman was walking past the house and the owner let him off leash in the front and he charged at her and went for her head and then shoulder, she will be calling animal control and I will be calling them again today. However, is there any further steps I can take to ensure something gets done? I live in bergen county if that helps with more context.
