Looks like I’m about to clinch a job in North Jersey. What towns should I look into moving to?

Post Body

So after applying for ages for jobs and it’s looking like I’m about to clinch one near Summit/New Providence. I was originally gonna live in the city and commute in, but fun stuff, the train that goes by my work doesn’t connect with the city, only Hoboken. So if I wanted to live in NYC I’d have to take the subway to Penn, then wait for the Path to Hoboken, then take the regional train to work and unsurprisingly this takes a long time. So I will likely have to live somewhere in northern Jersey, but I don’t know anything about the towns

I’m a young urban professional in another big city currently so I love dense city life, so I’d love to be as close to NYC as I can while being able to reasonably drive to work. Hoboken looks kinda nice? Newark has a bad reputation but I don’t know anything about it. One of the employees there told Me Jersey City is good. Anyone in the area able to tell me what towns are good to look into?
