Me and my buddy, both of us 24, are looking to get a place in either Jersey City or Hoboken. Were both from Bergen County and we figure these would be the best places to live, being that he will be communiting to carlstadt and I will be commuting to midtown Manhattan. Just trying to figure out which area would be most suitable for the both of us. We are musicians, we like to drink, And we have a budget of approximately 2,250 to spend. Which city would be better to live in for two single guys in their early 20s? If you have suggestions, like a certain place or apartments to live in, or a whole nother city in general, please share. All advice and suggestions are welcomed. Thank you guys so much.
EDIT-- extra question -- how is the scene in JC for young girls? A lot of my friends live in Brooklyn and get tons of beautiful girls to go back to their apartments. I'm really worried that moving to JSQ in JC will hinder that for me. Forget about girls coming back with me from Manhattan, because I feel like that will be hard. Are there girls in JC tho? Or is it barren? Any areas I should move to that have young, artistic people, with young girls too?
