Our schedules around this time are very busy, but given that fall colors are already taking over where we are in MA, the wife and I wanted to at least see something of New Hampshire before winter, and in the process see some of the NH fall. The fall peak maps suggest this weekend could be a good time for Southern NH, which is relatively quick drive for us. We were planning on driving up into Manchester and eating and walking around Massabesic Lake for a couple hours in the afternoon this weekend, but I was wondering if Concord or Milford/Nashua would be places to consider alternatively. Any suggestions for places to go or which city in southern Nh to see around this time of year if you had to pick one for an afternoon? We will obviously later on plan a bigger trip to see much more of NH!
