This is definitely something an investor will be buying. Nobody is buying this for a personal residential property. It will either be residential condos and commercial, or subdivided into many properties.

I don't know the details of the transaction, but the Andelmans (of Phantom Gourmet fame) bought the Mendon Drive In in Massachusetts and have been running that for almost a decade now, and Mendon is not a tourist hot spot. If someone with a decent pocketbook bought it, modernized it, and took advantage of the tourism, they could easily make the money back over the long term.
