5 new cases of COVID-19 in NL (Dec 18)

  • First case is female, central, aged 20-39, a resident, and is travel related from Alberta.
  • Second case is male, central, under 20, a resident, and is travel related from Alberta.
  • Third case is male, central, aged 40-49, a non-resident, and is international travel related.
  • Forth case is male, eastern, aged 20-39, a resident, and is under investigation.
  • Fifth case is male, eastern, aged 40-49, a resident, and is travel related from Alberta.

The first and second cases are from the same household.

Two cases from yesterday where travel related and the other was a close contact of the second case.


Active Investigations

  • Case in Harbour Breton from Dec 5.
  • Case in Harbour Breton from Dec 10.
  • Case in Eastern, from Dec 18.
