I'm a Newfoundlander who's livin in the States right now and as you can imagine there's quite a lot of foods from home I miss that I can't buy here. I want to make Toutons, but the only person I could have asked for our family recipe passed away in May.
Do any of you have a good recipe you've tried before for them? Doesn't matter how easy/complicated it is. I'm a fair cook, I just never really saw the method my folks used and would rather ask here than trust google. Do you just use a good white bread dough? I 'm curious!
Ask someone over the age of 70. Itβs always the best
