If you abandon a shopping cart, I don't know what to think of you or someone if you do
Today I seen a Home Depot shopping cart by the TD bank on Kelsey when I was driving home
The other day I was on the metrobus getting to work and I seen a Walmart cart by the bus stop
Why are people Abandoning Carts everywhere
It should be illegal to abandon carts, or Retailers should have the carts that auto-lock like the carts Sobeys and Winners got
I read once that returning a shopping cart is an excellent litmus test for the type of citizen you are. There's no requirement to return one, it's not illegal not to, and your act of returning it has no direct benefit to you. The only reason to return it is because it's the right thing to do, and everyone doing it makes for a more pleasurable experience for everyone.
