This is super random, but I grew up in the VIC high country, moved to newy a few years ago. Since then I've really really missed fresh water rivers, like, proper rivers. I have a day off work this week and I'd really love to make the trip, however long it may be, to a nice, secluded, wide and clear freshwater river. I'd like it to be shalow enough in some parts that I can have a wade around, and clear enough that I can dig around for cool river rocks and such. Does anyone have any recommendations? I don't mind if it's a day trip as long as the spot is worth it haha. I've really needed this for a while now, a little bit homesick I think.

Ladies well - upper Allyn Fosterton loop - dungog Or go for a drive out to Gloucester or Barrington, plenty of spots on the rivers out there to explore Clarity will probably depend on the spot and how much run off theyโve had from recent rain
