I am all for the new bypass, itโs going to be great but holy crap I have twice seen near accidents with trucks just turning on to main road from Newcastle road as conditions have changed to give way first opposed to merging safely into the far left lane. The other cars literally had to stop in their tracks and let them in. Are they just plain stupid or does signage need to be clearer? Old habits die hard! I canโt think to imagine an elderly driver is just going to take themselves out on this turn soon.
