Have either you or someone you know done it themselves ? Would be curious to hear about your experiences.
Thanks for the offer. I will hold you to it. :)
The overplanting I want to do are some flowers (sunflowers) along a rural route to woo a certain lady. The prospects of any of them surviving are about as low as the prospects of her returning my affections. But what else can a man in love do except try.
I was actually thinking of doing this so your suggestion has further strengthened the idea. The land has a gentle slope. Plastic sheets or tarps along the slope to lead to a hand dug, plastic lined reservoir might do the trick. I have no hesitation in acknowledging a fellow who is making helpful suggestion. I thank you very much and I will let you know how it turns out (if I actually end up doing it).
While we are at it, do you have any experience growing things in area populated heavily by deer ? Could over planting or over seeding overwhelm that vermin ?
I have. Just dont know how to do it in a field.
I want to dig a well to irrigate a small farm.
That is shallow. Did you get a good flow ?
